why do we have too many morons on the road specially on motorways
On Motorway clearly marked national speed limit which happens to be 70, why
drivers in M40 drive between 40 and 60. What the hell is wrong with
them? it surely is greener and safer but it is not convenient to
others. When the road is clear there is no reason for one to drive
slower than the maximum speed.
When road is clear and a driver drives 50 to 60 on a 70 miles
p/hour road, it makes me real mad.
M40 is full of Morons from Central and North East London going towards
Beaconsfield High Wycombe and Amersham etc (most of whom are old people
and they have no consideration for others)
Maybe ZZA you are one of them
OK firstly national speed limit motorway happens NOT to be
70!!!
National speed limit for motorbikes, cars, buses & lorries up to 7.5
tonnes without trailers might be 70mph, but any of those with trailers
with trailers the speed limit on a motorway is 60 mph.
Also most lorries are restricted to around 56mph & coaches around 62mph so I don't think it would be dangerous to drive below the speed LIMIT when the knights of the road are all trundling along in the mid 50's! Admittedly, 40 mph on a clear motorway is too slow, but if it is clear - why does it bother you so much - overtake!! I personally drive along the motorway at a speed that is safe, if it is completely clear I will happily pootle along at 60ish. I remember driving up the M6 & was running really early, so I trundled along behind one of the lorries & it was the most relaxing journey I have ever had!
its proportional,so we must have masses of morons in the
country to explain the high volume on the roads. i cant understand
either-why do the instructors teach them to drive like it? i have been
taught that we need to keep up with traffic up to legal limits.the people
who drive at the same speed in the outside lane as they do in the inside
lane are as big a danger on the roads as the loonies who come past at
100mph plus in the rain or whatever other bad conditions.sadly the world is being run by loonies & it seems to be sending everyone else loony too!-not me tho' i'm the sanest person i know!!!!!calm down & laugh at the eejuts-its more fun than getting mad.
cuz most of the time woman drive slowly
There is no compulsion do drive at the maximum speed.
The highway code clearly states that you should drive within the
conditions.
If you want to drive constantly at the maximum feel free to do so, and
probably kill yourself, just make sure you are nowhere near me when you do it thank you. No I don't drive at 40, but I do drive at a sensible speed.
Get a grip people there are more important things to worry
about.
They are old codgers, especially when they are in the middle
lane at 50, WTF.?
I HATE THE IDIOTS THAT DRIVE SLOW IN THE LEFT LANE AND DON'T
GET OUT OF THE WAY. ALL THE IDIOTS WHO BOUGHT BIG SUV'S ARE TRYING TO SAVE
GAS, BUT FOR PETE'S SAKE, DRIVE IN THE RIGHT LANE..NOT THE LEFT!!!!!
Ah well, Do you remember that CD ROM full of drivers' details,
the one that went missing last year.?
Well...... Kelloggs got hold of it, and started giving out driving
licences, free with every packet of corn flakes..!!
Or for that matter, between 80 and 90?
You might not be aware but the optimum fuel efficiency is achieved with a
steady speed of 55mph. It is therefore greener to drive at that speed and
safer too!
